INDUSTRIAL ROPE ACCESS COMPANY | RAYACCESS
RayAccess, Inc. is an exclusive provider of rope access services in Los Angeles. In general, Rope Access is an access method which allows technicians to safely reach and work at high or difficult-to-reach areas via using top anchors and two-line system. Especially, it applies where application of conventional means such as scaffolding, swing stage, aerial platform or ladders is not feasible, practical or can create greater hazard for workers, public and property.
To ensure safety priority in our operations, all of our rope access technicians are certified and trained in accordance with SPRAT and IRATA standards. Second, all the fall-protection, fall-arrest and positioning equipment is routinely inspected and maintained by Competent Person. Finally, detailed safety planning and Job Safety Analysis are implemented prior to each project.
In RayAccess, we apply rope access expertise for exterior and high interior building maintenance, industrial maintenance, entertainment and other trades assistance at height.
WHAT IS INDUSTRIAL ROPE ACCESS?
ROPE ACCESS ADVANTAGES
-
Greater Safety
Rope Access has continuously been demonstrating the highest safety ratings pertaining to work at height in any industry. Comparatively to other “rope” systems such as bosun’s chair (aka “chair”), Controlled Descent Apparatus (aka CDA) or Rope Descent System (aka RDS), Rope Access maintains stringent guidelines and requirements for technicians training and certification, anchors setup and rigging, project management and safety planning, equipment selection and inspection. In RayAccess, we adhere to SPRAT and IRATA safe practices which meet and exceed OSHA and ANSI standards.
-
Efficiency
In addition to safety, the advantage of using Rope Access lies in speed in which workers can access difficult locations and carry out their work. In fact, simplicity and mobility of the rope access equipment allows to implement work at height in quickly and cost-efficient manner.
-
Minimal Disruptions
In contrast to using scaffolding, boom lift or suspended platform, Rope Access work usually requires minimal traffic management, permits, sidewalk and road closures. Technicians work in close proximity to building walls enabling substantially smaller area of safety barricades. Also, rigging and use of rope access equipment does not produce any noise, so it would not cause any disturbance for people in and around a property.
-
Less Cost
Simplicity, mobility and minimal effect benefits of using Rope Access versus conventional access means add to substantial saving in time and overhead project costs.
