Finding the best solution for your specific property depends on the particular bird species, level of infestation, and architecture of your building. Bird Netting: 

A very humane and effective bird control method. Depending on the size and configuration, mesh can keep out everything from seagulls to sparrows. It can be used in enclosed or semi-enclosed areas such as open beam structures, loading docks, building facades, courtyards, bridges, etc. Bird netting is a stainless steel and color customizable wire mesh that easily blends in with any building’s unique tone and style.

Bird Spikes:

Don’t be alarmed by the word spike as bird spikes are another humane method that is completely harmless to both birds and humans. Spikes will keep pigeons and larger sized birds away. It can be used on ledges, parapets caps, roof peaks, chimneys, beams, security cameras, lighting, etc. Spikes are made of plastic or stainless steel and point upward at different angles. The downside is that bird spikes have a menacing aesthetic. 

Bird Coils: 

Bird Coils smooth curves are completely harmless to birds. Just like bird spikes, they work best in keeping pigeons and larger birds away. Bird coils are perfect on long exposed ledges, parapets, signs, beams, and pipes. When seen from a distance greater than 20 feet, these stainless steel coils disappear to the naked eye.

Studies have shown that birds have been around for over 60 million years. They are one of the most important animals in our ecosystem due to the fact that they control the insect population, and help plants grow by spreading seeds/pollen throughout the land. The federal government protects over 1100 species of birds with the Migratory Bird Treaty Act of 1918.
